Chief Commercial Officer, Natural International Exports

Bridging sustainable commodity origins in Africa to North American markets. I lead commercial operations for N.I.E., where we connect ethical sourcing with global demand—from tropical hardwood and cocoa to coffee and beyond.

Background

I grew up between three worlds—France, Canada, and Cameroon—each shaping how I see global commerce. My father operated a lumber mill in Cameroon since 1996, and I spent my formative years on the mill floor, watching raw timber transform into finished product, learning the language of supply chains before I had the vocabulary for it.

That early exposure instilled something crucial: respect for the origin. In commodities, understanding where things come from isn't romantic—it's operational. It determines quality, pricing power, and whether a supply chain can weather disruption.

I studied Marketing and Commerce at the University of Guelph, then built expertise across sectors—insurance at Manulife, automotive finance at Ford, and sales leadership at Google. Each taught me a different dimension of commercial strategy, stakeholder management, and how to scale operations without losing the human side of business.

Now, I apply all of it to Natural International Exports, where the work is equal parts logistics, relationship-building, and conviction that sustainable sourcing doesn't have to compromise on margins.

Natural International Exports

Connecting commodity origins to global markets

N.I.E. sources and exports essential commodities—tropical hardwood, cocoa, coffee—from origin countries to the international market. We operate across Yaoundé and Douala in Cameroon, with commercial reach extending to Paris, Toronto, and North American buyers.

What sets us apart is ownership. We don't act as middlemen. We control our resources, which means we can guarantee quality, maintain competitive pricing, and commit to sustainability practices that aren't just marketing copy—they're embedded in how we operate.

My role as CCO is to translate that operational advantage into market position: building relationships with buyers who value transparency, managing the commercial strategy across North America, and ensuring our supply chain delivers what we promise.
